Pepper is a white-label smart home platform built to scale across consumer IoT ecosystems. To prepare for rapid market growth and emerging IoT standards, the goal was overhauling Pepper OS to support 16+ device types within a unified, adaptable framework.

I designed a modular, object-oriented UX architecture, establishing a universal UI anchored around a signature ring-control component. This created a consistent interaction pattern across diverse hardware while maintaining flexible guardrails for white-label clients.

To simplify complex multi-device actions, I introduced a sentence-structure UI for smart automations. This scalable system enabled Pepper to onboard enterprise partners and expand seamlessly into new hardware and consumer markets.
